We're excited to share the latest improvements to Innoactive Spatial Runtime, bringing new capabilities and important reliability fixes to your XR streaming environment.

What's New

• Ground Detection — The VRED plugin now detects the physical ground plane, enabling more accurate spatial anchoring and a better-grounded XR experience for your users.

• Session Takeover Approval Status — The runtime's status response now exposes whether session takeover requires explicit approval, giving management integrations and orchestration tools clearer visibility into session control policies.

• System Requirements Check on Startup — The runtime now validates CloudXR system requirements at launch and surfaces clear feedback when the host machine does not meet the necessary prerequisites — eliminating silent failures and making onboarding and troubleshooting faster.

• Reliable XR Mode Reset — Fixed an issue where XR mode was not correctly reset after an application session ended, which could leave the runtime in an inconsistent state between sessions.

• GPU Detection Fix — Resolved a compatibility issue that could prevent accurate GPU detection in production deployments, ensuring hardware capabilities are correctly identified.
